The rate includes breakfast and a three-course dinner at Restaurant Loimu in our main building. Lunch is also available from the lunch menu for an additional fee.

AIRPORT TRANSFER
Airport transfers to and from Ivalo Airport (IVL) are included.
Please book your transfer well in advance by emailing [email protected]. Include your flight number and estimated arrival time in Ivalo. We monitor flight schedule changes, and our driver will meet you at the airport with an Aurora Village sign.
NORTHERN LIGHTS IN THE SKY
The Northern Lights are often at their strongest during the latter half of September. When solar winds interact with the atmosphere, they can create a spectacular display across the sky. On quieter nights, you may still see the softer glow of the Aurora Borealis. September is one of the best times to see the Northern Lights above Aurora Village Ivalo.
CAMPFIRE SITES
You are welcome to use our Laavu and Kota campfire sites to build a fire and grill sausages or marshmallows.
TREKKING PATHS
Our front yard is the starting point for hiking routes of many lengths. The shortest marked trail is 950 m long, while longer routes can extend for hundreds of kilometres. Along the way, you can discover cliffs, boreal forests, wilderness lakes, and fells. The routes are suitable for cycling, walking, jogging, and trekking year-round.
SAUNAS, JACUZZI, SWIMMING SPOT
The Panorama Sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi on the scenic terrace add a touch of luxury to an autumn day. The sauna includes a toilet, showers, a dressing room, soap, and shampoo.
The Barrel Sauna and natural swimming spot offer a more traditional experience with a wood-fired stove and refreshing water. This sauna has carried water and a small dressing room, but no toilet.

Campaign Terms
Book your stay using the Aurora Guarantee rate plan. If you stay for at least four nights between 15 and 30 September, we will refund the accommodation portion of your booking (excluding meals, saunas, and other additional services) if no Northern Lights are visible at the resort during your stay.
The offer is valid only for direct bookings made with the Aurora Guarantee rate. It does not apply to bookings made through third-party platforms such as Booking.com or Hotels.com.
Visibility is verified using sky cameras that record the sky during darkness. If the cameras do not record the Northern Lights over the property during your stay, the accommodation refund becomes valid.
No refund is provided if the cameras confirm that the Northern Lights were visible during your stay.
Our sky cameras also power the Aurora Alert service. An alert code is included with this campaign rate and is available from reception at check-in. Once installed and activated, the Northern Lights app will notify you whenever the Northern Lights become visible at the resort.
