A guided visit to a nearby Farm to meet husky dogs. Have a personal “meet & greet” with the dog pack and enjoy hot drinks at the farm. Get to know about husky life, skills and abilities and how the dogs are treated as part of the family.

Experience the stunning nature in a slow but still adventurous way, together with one of the huskies as your hiking buddy. During the hike you will have a break at the fire with hot drinks and snacks and after the hike you will meet all the amazing dogs working at this Husky farm. Guided experience in small group.
Lunch at the Farm can be added on request 47 EUR per person: Homemade sourdough bread + hot soup with local ingredients, coffee/tea/water, and a fresh baked pannukakku with selfmade cloudberry jam and cream as desert.

Your husky musher will pick you up from the Aurora Village reception and take you to the husky farm nearby. You will get to greet the dogs and you’ll get to know details of the life of
Alaskan Husky dogs. A team of huskies will take you on a 20- minute ride on a customized summer wagon. You’ll be served coffee in a traditional wooden Kota-building at the husky farm.
Available until end of November or until there’s enough snow for winter sleigh rides.

Requirements
Temperature must be under 15 Celcius, so it’s not too hot for the
dogs.
When is the best time to see the northern lights?
You can experience the aurora borealis here in Finnish Lapland from end of August until mid April. If the northern lights are visible depends on a lot of different factors like the time of the year, the solar activity and the weather.
